 In a divided world filled with a constant need to suppress people's voices, there has been an emergence of meaningful music. Where words fail, music speaks. Strengthened by years of social anxiety, my musical voice is the glue that holds together all musical genres. It breaks down the "musical hierarchies" created by society's elite and fuses music from underrepresented, oppressed people with that of the "highest achieving" composers in history. As an African American male, I bring my experiences outside of the musical world and translate it into notes, creating a new language that has the ability to code switch at any given moment. 

Bio- 

           Michael Prince is a jack of all trades! Mainly known for his roles as a touring violinist and recording artist, Prince works in a plethora of arenas worldwide, bringing awareness to an instrument that is often neglected in popular music. In 2024, his discography touched ears across the world, gaining billions of streams and views on instrumental hits like Finesse, Vibin, and Yup. His passion for music also coincides with his passion for education, which he exercises throughout the year with Hood Orchestra. Founded by Michael Prince in 2023, the organization builds appreciation for the arts by providing music education and nontraditional experiences to underserved students and communities. When he is not educating, Prince can often be found fishing, cycling. and exploring new terrains across the globe. ​
